Week 1

I had a very lovely Winter Break, I went to Paris and saw my best friend there and then went to see my parents and friends in Jerusalem. It was really fun and the weather was so nice, it felt like spring there. I had the opportunity to meditate, clear my mind up and just not think about anything.

I came back from Jerusalem on Friday evening last week and the next day I had to go to UC Main to go to the "Optimize your Well Being Event", which was my first event for my Area Health Center Program. We learned about Modern Yoga, Ways to Reduce Cancer Risk, Stress Management and Meditation. We learned that diet can basically change your life to the better, and by diet I mean not eating less food or starving yourself to loose weight, but actually eating well and eating healthy. They mentioned being on a  Mediterranean Diet is the best; because it's the healthiest. 

Monday, I had work at the admissions office all day and then had my first welcome desk shift at 2 pm. ON Tuesday, I had I had my first Genetics and Organic Chemistry 2 classes, which seemed pretty interesting. I hope organic chemistry 

try is easier this semester! On Wednesday, I had my first Organic Chemistry 2 Lab, which was fun; because my best friends were in the same lab! I also had physics.. On THursday, I had another welcome desk shift, because it fit my schedule better, which is good! 

I hope this semester brings As, fun and happiness and I hope it's not as hard as last semester!
