Week 11

We started this week off with an Ambassador Meeting. We were discussing our events and reflecting on the the best and worst things that happened to us as Student Ambassadors. I said that my low this semester was Organic Chemistry and my high was my Area Health Education Scholarship, as well as Propel Ohio and being an Ambassador. 

This week I had my regular welcome desk shifts on Tuesday and Thursday. On Thursday I went to the ECG club and it was really nice. We got to reflect on ourselves and see what each individual in the group values the most and uses as a way to blend in with society. Some people said Religion/Spirituality is what they act upon in life. Others said that their insecurities/failures drives them to become the better person in life. Also we talked about what each person wishes to know more about. Some students mentioned that they were born in America, but have other origins and would like to know more about their countries/identity/background as well as their first language more.  I think that this was a very interesting topic to me and gave me a chance to look at life in a deeper way and help me appreciate what I reached so far and what I have. 

Also, they announced the pumpkin painting contest and apparently my team: Arderia and Sondos won!!! So we also got prizes, basically candy for our Starry Night Pumpkin, which turned out really cute!!
