Week 9

This week I had my first Open House; because last Open House was a Wednesday and I had an Organic Chemistry Lab.My first Open House at UCBA was super fun, especially the Balloon Brigade. Even though it took a lot of time to manage this event, however it turned out to be great. It was nice to talk to new prospective students and their families about the college and being able to help them out with getting to know the resources available on Campus. I also did a small tour along with Divya to some of the prospective students and I was happy to share with them some of the most important resources, such as the Science Learning Lab and so much more. My group had a lot of health students, which was good, because I am also in a health related field and can help them with most of their questions and their concerns. I was happy to help them and clear out some questions they had. 

Apart from that week, I had my Welcome Desk Shift and I also had a meeting with Cathy, a CPAS Adviser; because me and her team are going to collaborate in a Stress Relief Event for students called "Give it a Break". It will be a great event on December the 4th and will have a Yoga Session, Coloring and Game Board Tables, Movies and Cartoons and so much more!
