Week 5

This week was our second Ambassador Meeting. We talked about the hours and about new events coming up this semester. I had my first Rad-Tech Information Session Check in at Walters. Kirsten and I sat for a little bit longer since students came in a little late and we also got to learn about the Rad-Tech Program. I am jealous that they can do their Bachelors Degree online once they finish their Associates at Blue Ash, plus if they get hired at a hospital they are able to get tuition remission, which I think is smart and it kind of gives me some regret vibes about my major but it's okay, we will power through.

On Tuesday I met with my adviser who told me that if I keep my GPA this high, I will get accepted into my Clinical Year automatically, which I am excited for. I have to take all of my electives this summer, so I can graduate on time.

On Thursday, I had my regular welcome desk shift and after that I met with Nick to talk about financing the Taste of the World event and about the fact that some students buy their food ingredients from specific ethnic places and not just Kroger, so taking a staff with them to buy it would be a little awkward, that's why we are trying to find a better way to split the money for the event.

Later on Thursday, I went to UC Clermont to take my Organic Chemistry Class. I got my first Organic Chemistry exam back and I got a 90% on it and I just feel great about it and the fact that I am starting to like Organic Chemistry.

After my Organic Chemistry Class, I went to ECG and then we talked about privileges of being Ethnic, different and about having diversity in the US, which I find interesting. I also asked some students if they would like to join the Taste of the World event and their culture and not all of them agreed but some did. I added the students to the Event's Group Me, where we can have better communication with.

On Friday, I had a lot of classes and work to do and then did poster hanging, which was fun, especially when it was windy outside and half of the papers flew away, when I was walking from Muntz to Walters.

All in all, the week was rough, interesting and fun and I hope I get to be in more events for the next weeks.
